Two Day National Workshop on Deep Learning using Iot for Speech Recognition: a Technology for Differently abled People 2018, Kongunadu College of Engineering and Technology, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, 16-17th October 2018
Each and every person in this world has a desire to live a normal human life but accidents, diseases, elder-ship make their desire into disability. To facilitate the disabled people, there is a need for technologically assistive devices that are increasingly playing more important roles in their lives, with one of the more promising considerations being a combination of the functions of computer software and hardware.
Artificial Intelligence is becoming a mainstream technology for speech and action recognition at industrial scale. Deploying various deep learning algorithms to Internet of Things bridges the gap in the speech and action recognition technology. To design an IoT device with Text to Speech and Speech to Text applications, researchers has to focus on several aspects of deep learning with the theme of how deep models can enable the effective use of primitive, information-rich spectral features. The outcome of this workshop will kindle the mind set of Students, Research Scholars and Industry Persons to learn and promote their research in the thrust area of deep learning.
